Download gtfo d110/10/2023 Revolver and HEL gun have range, but their low precision multipliers make them quite weak for bosses. Sniper is almost necessary for the fight, and you can even get away with it being the sole damager on the boss. Shotguns, machinegun, and many of the automatic main weapons should pretty much never be used for the boss, they should always be used to clear adds. Most weapons have damage fall-off over range, and a LOT of weapons have pretty heavy fall-off for the purposes of fighting the boss (which has weakpoints that are very often quite far away). I have been playing with the same group of guys since the games release and have struggled with the last boss fight for over 3 hours. When i look up videos of other people doing the D1, it is nowhere as intense and the tumor dies in 2 seconds. The audio in the boss fight cut out at some point so my game was completely deaf. each cyst on the boss takes over 6 sniper shots WITH +54% special damage increase The boss kept spawning minions every 20 seconds to the point where we were dealing more damage to the minions than the actual boss. *we know this because we opened all the lockers before the battle* only 2 medkits spawned on the boss battle. The boss fight at the end of D1 is absolutely WACK.
